John McCain does not want gay couples to adopt because he believes two parents are necessary to a successful family.  Makes sense, huh?

I guess you've never heard of a nuclear family?

^  Yeah, they're in the history books I teach my kids.  It's a good family dynamic but it doesn't exist for the majority of Americans, nor should it be the only criteria for what is deemed a "good family." 

What if the kids don't want to be adopted by gay people?

What if Asian kids don't want to be adopted by White people?
What if Black kids don't want to be adopted by HIspanic people?
What if kids don't want to be adopted by poor people?
What if kids don't want to be adopted by a single parent?
What if kids don't want to be adopted?

Really, is this the logic you go by?

If any of those conditions are true than the kids shouldn't be adopted by said family. If they would prefer an orphanage then by all means they should get what they want.

Yeah i agree if you are a child up for adoption and they find a good home for you to grow up in it shouldnt matter too you weather there rich or not or black or hispanic. BEGGERS CAN'T BE CHOOSERS. If they cant appreciate a good home with lots of love just because the parents cant buy them the new 360 or cause there hispanic then they deserve to sit in an orphanage.

Yes but you see the difference between those people AA7 listed and gay people... is that the gay people are the only ones people want to keep from adopting.  So you say "what if the kid doesn't want to be adopted by a gay couple," when you just gave an answer for that now... If you were trying to argue against gay adoption, it kinda failed.  If you weren't, then I don't see your point.

I don't think it should be illegal I'm just saying that some kids probably WANT the nuclear family thing going for them.

How the hell could a child possibly know if the family was good? Isn't it better to at least go along with the child's wishes than just randomly toss the kid at a married couple?

Your missing the point. If the state can verify that the family can A Support the child. B has a good healthy environment to grow up in and C Has no history of violence then the child should just shut up and have a good childhood no matter if is Heterosexual or Homosexual.

Like i said if children can't appreciate the someones kindness in attempting too take them into there lives and give them a family then they can stay in orphonages.

What are you suggesting?  Place the child under State care until they're the age of 18?  I'm pretty sure almost every child in the system wants to be adopted by somebody.
