They're F'd now.. It's been bought by a marketing host to sell for profit.. It'd be funny if it was the same people who bought the CC.com address.. Which requires thousands of dollars for me to get back so we're just going to leave that one be.

Yes... too bad about that eh? Although thats entirely my fault - I had quite a temper in the past and it cost me a lot more than most of you know. Knowing some lame squatter bought it up though sucks ass, especially since the domain isn't useful to anyone but us. Actually, I'm quite positive they will negotiate with you, especially since they have been sitting on it since what... 2003? But you will still end up paying more than you should have to. It isn't a big deal though getting it back - if it were I'd negotiate with them myself to make amends - but the .org Campaign Creations is established well already.Lavarinth wrote: They're F'd now.. Basically: They're assholes.
As for you anger, been there. We all make decisions upon anger at one point, not always with a bad results and sometimes with. Can't beat one-self up for it. Like you said, the .org works just as fine.

Nah, there is no 'asshole' in business, just bad business decisions. If they took a little time to look up each domain in the Internet Archive, they'd see its just a game modding web site that isn't worth much. Then they could determine if its worth selling it for a lower price, instead of holding on to it to see if they could get a lot more.Lavarinth wrote:

To see if they're talking something about StarEdit's shutdown. I didn't post them.Taeradun wrote: ...what for?
EDIT: Please disconsider this thread. StarEdit is back online. Here's the apologize:
Sorry, I didn't realize the domain was about to expire. Though once moose called me I was like oh yeah, it's july isn't it.
And I hope to come back soon with a coding fury like I did a couple months ago. Get a lot of shit done. Sorry for my absence (again).
Also special thanks to Dead who actually paid for the domain renewal because he donated $30 and that is especially cool because I'm really short on cash this month. So big props to him.
