I can't stand House, and cannot comprehend how anyone can like it.

I only started watching it because I always saw in commercials a guy with the cane who was really smart and thought, 'hmmm, thats different'.  Once I started watching it, I liked it.  As a rule I avoid all medical shows, and this one certainly has some disturbing moments  (especially the episode with the baby), although this seasons story was just kinda eh, but I guess we can chock that up to the Writers Strike.

Your short replies make it nigh impossible to continue a discussion.

Here is a picture of a flaming skeleton.

[imgwh 470x258]http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg57 ... 5zmnq3.gif[/imgwh]

House:  "So we have a flaming skeleton.  Theories?"
Cameron:  "Lighter fluid?"
Foreman:  "Inflammation."
House:  "If you're just going to spout out every reason for a flaming skeleton you learned in Medical School, I can go listen to the interns downstairs."
Chase:  "The flaming skeleton could be just a symptom.  I think we need to do X-Rays and check for skeleton mites in the bones."
House:  "Start him on penicillin for the mites, and do an MRI to check for brain damage."
Cameron:  "Theres no indication of any brain damage, he is on fire."
House:  "If the mites have already inflammed his skeleton to the point of fire, they could have entered the bloodstream and passed the blood brain barrier.  So unless we want to visit our patient in the morgue by mid afternoon, we'll assume the mites have moved to his brain."

NO! THIS THREAD IS ABOUT HOUSE NOT ARMY OF DARKNESS! WE MUST SAVE THIS FLAMING SKELETON!

QUICK!

[imgwh 400x392]http://imagecache2.allposters.com/image ... osters.jpg[/imgwh]

WAIT! Pouring the water on him could cause a heatstroke and cause him to have cardiac arrest due to the hydrogen particles entering his blood stream through the pores on his.. Bones.. Pouring water would only make the situation worse, you have to take him away from all sources of oxygen! BUT THAT WOULD SUFFOCATE THE SKELETON!

House:  Exactly.  We suffocate the skeleton, then revive him using CPR.
Cameron:  You can't risk a patients life like that.
House:  We either suffocate this skeleton or let him burn to death.
Cuddy:  Brilliant medicine, you've done it again House!

Chase: We've suffocated the skeleton but there's an adverse reaction to his bone marrow.  It's green.
House:  Allergic reaction?
Foreman: No.  He didn't fill any out on his checklist.
Chase:  It could be Multiple Sclerosis offset by the inflammation of his spine from the spinal tap we did earlier.
Foreman: Or it could be a discoloration from the chemicals that ignited him on fire in the first place.
House:  There's only one way to know for sure.  We'll have to smash his femur.
Foreman:  No!  He's already in a catatonic state.  A procedure like that could kill him!
House:  If we don't do it now, he could be even more dead in two hours.  Do it.

Cameron: I'm telling Cuddy.

House would never ask Chase 'Allergic Reaction?' unless he was writing on his white board and passively asked it.  He doesn't ask basic medical conditions like that.  E for effort though.  Do they still give E's in school?

Actually, I was thinking that House would never accept "He didn't fill any out on his checklist" as an answer.  Because that clearly means nothing.  Actually, it clearly means that the patient is lying and is having an allergic reaction.

Well excuuuse me for interjecting my own little spin on it.  I'm sure Desler talks like the real Desler all the time on his Yamato Spaceship, and I'm sure Mr. is a perfect gentleman who wears cardigan sweaters and plays badminton.

In fact, why don't you two merge, that way you can be Mr. Captain Desler; racquetball extraordinaire of the galaxy, a beacon of impeccable taste in Lacoste polos.

Benders.
