What..? The actor is dead. Joker dead? Why would he be dead if he hadn't even appeared yet in the first movie except the end to signify he existed and was obviously alive?

It's not likely that Joker will survive the film, or the makers would have to find a new actor. It will probably be like this,I mean Jack Nicholson's Joker also died in the first film.

Funny. Heath Ledger finished his role in the movie, meaning the script went as planned. And as the script was planned, the Joker was a returning minor character in future films. His supposed final accomplishment in this movie, as stated over a year ago, would be to prove that he is smarter than Batman.

Maybe you could not write spoilers Lava, however small.  I know some people love to read every bit of information on something they like, but I found out a long time ago that it really ruins the moment you actually see it.  Anyone watch the recent movie that came out, Batman, Gotham Knights?  It's like a bunch of short stories and is voiced by the guy who did Batman for like 10+ years in cartoons (not that new sucky batman series that I heard was cancelled)

It WILL focus entirely on other villains, obviously the trailer shows it will focus on Two-Face for 3 or 4. Joker.. Likely in an Asylum, same with Scarecrow who can be seen in the trailer.

I don't recall any of the mastermind criminals ever dying so quickly in comics, cartoons, etc (except the sorry Tim Burton movies), so why would anyone assume they died in their first appearance? Due to that.. I wouldn't exactly classify that as a spoiler.. The ending thing is something I was told. For all I know- Joker could simply be arrested and put in the asylum.
