True psychological terror comes from going from one extreme to the other.  You stop jumping at demons when one lurks around every corner.  In a world where creatures jumping from the shadows to slice off your head is the norm, and beatiful butterflies and unicorns are none to be found, fear is merely a lack of experience.

Yeah, but I rather like the... hmm maybe psychological isn't the best word here - "suggested" terror when you see walls covered with blood spats, a harem with lots of mutilated girls and keep wondering how the hell did the bodies end up that way. :p

Maybe they were having an orgy when a knife salesmen came along but then dropped all his knives in a way that sliced everyone up in the room.  That would be my guess.

Has no one considered that Jerhyn might have done it?  I mean, come on... he's mysteriously absent for like half of Act 2...!

They're hardly releasing updates as often as they did for SC2 within two weeks. In addition- We all know overall we are all more geared towards SC2.

Plus there really isn't much to ask compared to SC.  Everyone wants to know about balance, the editor, modding, and new units in SC.  As I understand it, balance is a joke in Diablo.  And you aren't excited to hear about some new creature cause they are all just your generic demons and underlings there to ruin your day for some reason.

That's a good point, I think the only exciting moments would be a new class introduction, skill setup explanation, or new areas to visit. And perhaps some of the new areas as well. Aside that, the only thing I'm really interested in is my hope they remove this "only you can see your own loot" stuff. Makes it feel less "in the world with others" if you can see all the drops. You'll just see people take a few steps, stop, take a few steps, stop, etc. because they're picking things up you can't see.

The people that still play Diablo II don't even care about the demons, all they do is farm with pindlebots and baal runs and PvP, the game is ruined and was when runewords were released.

The game wasn't ruined. The game ALWAYS about bots. Runes added more things to look for and runewords only are something to complain about in PvP. Which I play Hardcore, and I've never had them bother me so don't complain.
