Re: Myserious Artwork on Blizzard Website...
Just saw this posted somewhere else. Looks fake, I could probably do that with enough effort in photoshop. But lots of people are buying it.

If it is real, then it IS StarCraft III. My guess is its story centers around some evil Protoss judging by how prominently he/she is featured.

That's just silly. I mean, he/she? Everyone knows all female Protoss have died off.Desler wrote:If it is real, then it IS StarCraft III. My guess is its story centers around some evil Protoss judging by how prominently he/she is featured.
Blizzard sure knows how to stir up a community, though. Out of all their hypes, I've never seen the Internet forums reach such a critical level of rampant rumors and .jpeg analyzation. It's getting pretty funny.
Somewhere, I saw some people discussing the possibility of a new Blackthorne title.

no shit even communities I know to be completely biased on retarded games like C&C and such got their panties in a knotAekenon wrote: Blizzard sure knows how to stir up a community, though.
all blizzard has to do is post an image on their site and they've riled everyone up. Their logo does all of their hype for them.

Yep. They could just have plain text reading "SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME ANNOUNCEMENT COMING SOON" and that would be enough to excite their fanbase and build tons of intrigue, but yet they'll still go for the highly dramatic route with their intricate splash screens and mysterious clues littered around the place.
I gotta admit, it is fun that way.

Re: Myserious Artwork on Blizzard Website...
It must be some kind of new game announcement. Blizzard has never done a splash screen for anything less.
I have seen the Desler. I have tasted of his milk and honey.
