Book 5 Temple of Dragon Mirror Quest
Any tips on how to align the seven mirrors? I don't see a beam or anything, and I don't see how it works. What's the item acquired from this little puzzle anyways?

If you don't see the beam don't bother with the puzzle, because it's buggy as all hell (Blizzard did a poor job coding the Image and Lightning triggers).

Even if you don't see the beam, you can solve the riddle with basic physics knowledge. The beam starts from the tube on the mid-right of the room. First it "hits" the mirror on the far left. If you can't find the mirror, try to imagine a straight line going from the tube west. The mirrors work like this:
Each "Attack" on a mirror spins it by 45 degrees.
--> \ I / -- <---
Since the light needs to
1. hit the mirror and
2. guide it to the next
you need to use the diagonal forms of the mirrors (that would be / and \ ). Here's a simple graphic how the beam connects to the next (of course this is only an example):
START
I /----------------\
I I I
\ --------- / \-------------- (and so on)
The "I" and "---" displays the beam. The "/" and "\" the mirrors. To solve this riddle, you must guide the beam to the other tube (mid-up) of the room. It's not that hard if you understand the mechanics.
