How rename the units?

Does anyone know how I can rename the units in a mod?

You can do that in StarEdit effectively, but if you want them renamed permanently I think you need TBL editor. I never got that program to work, as all .tbl files in StarDat appeared empty, but I probably did something wrong.

Yes, Legion is right. I'm using it for my campaign Fall and Rise.

Regarding this problem, Legion, it may not be that you're making something wrong. The problem can be of the program itself. Anyway, when I'll finish with the renaming of the units of my campaign, I notice you both.

StarDraft, yes I know it is old has its old .tbl editor, you can rename units there but I find it alot easier to just rename the units there in the editor. Ranks is different which you will need a .tbl editor.

You can use StarDraft but it is a little outdated, it's best to use TBL Pad instead if you're looking for something basic.
