Hmmm... interesting campaign. How many time you think you're going to need to make it?

You're new. Have you play the campaign ACMD0, of the Starcraft Campaign Mini-Competition?

I'm not sure how long I'm going to take to finish it.  I'll release it when it's done, and it will be done when it's done.

I'm still debating on my release schedule.  There's just something nice about releasing the whole thing at once when it's done, but the campaign does divide nicely into three acts.  So I might release each one seperately.  We'll see.

The important is release the campaign. You can do it as you wants, this is your campaign. ;) ;)

It's been a while since I last updated this thread, but I'm still working on ACMD!  Here's some screenshots to prove that.

UED forces attack Cerebrate Thadrass and his Hive Cluster.

Now on hold while I work on my submission for the "Four Years Between" Campaign Contest.

I haven't played any of your past campaigns, so I can't say anything in relation to how you (specifically you) work, but I have a good piece of advice.

There are a (pardon my French) shitload of characters. This can be a problem. Make sure you don't forget to characterize them all in relation to their role in your story (e.g. Cerebrates most important should be focused on more than other characters that are not as important).

Good luck, and I hope to play this!

So long as each character is impactful to the player, the amount isn't an issue, look at RXC's projects.

Thanks Pronogo!  Good advice, and something I've already taken into account.  As a writer, I love doing dialogue and characters.  Which is probably one of the reason I've enjoyed campaigning so much, since it allows me to focus on that.  I have run into that problem before, with minor characters stealing the spotlight from the main characters, but I don't expect to run into that problem here.

From experience, some stories can benefit from having the focus spread around alot.  However, ACMD! isn't one of those stories.  This campaign is very much about Thadrass and I don't expect to lose sight of that.

Exactly!  That's one of the things I've always liked about RCX's campaigns.  It also reminds me that I still need to finish playing WoS.
