And what about Denmark (Greenland)? There is actually quite a bit of border issues between Canada and Denmark regarding fishing rights and the Hans island. Your post only underlines another American quality omitted by tipereth in his list. 

Besides, there is one more country next to Canada, but that is actually quite specific, only for geography honor roll: France! It has two islands (St. Pierre and Miquelon) just south of Newfoundland, which are the last remnants of its former North American colonial posessions.
