I'm sure this has been talked about but is there anything I can do about it, I've just started playing again and I never broke any of Blizzards policies and no one else has my cd-key

There's two possibilities to that. You either did and your lying thinking we can help you somehow. OR, someone else did on your computer or using CD key.

I don't know if there's any way around that much.

Generated CD-Keys never work on Blizzard's Battle.net, I know I tried because I couldn't find my CD-Key awhile ago. It has to be either that someone did use SC on your computer a bad way to violate their rules. Or you're not entirely telling the truth and you may of done something illegal to Battle.net.

I've never used hacks or bots, they're pointless to me, and I've never given away my cd-key because I knew I would play again someday, I was just wondering if there was any possibility to getting un-muted.

You have to wait awhile. Also maybe you spammed a bunch of times and Blizzard got sick of it.

blizzard's more recent automated ban/suspend system is very retarded

d2 players suffer heavily from it

Yeah, I had never been muted before on SC and was already muted when I started playing again... I had gotten booted off D2 b.Net a bunch of times for short periods thanks to Blizzards brilliant system, lag coming out of a game and you get booted..

I've never met a D2 person muted but a few SC people, WC3 is different hopefully its the same in D3 and SC2 that no muting people. I'd say just wait it out or contact them, atleast you can talk in games and stuff.

Yeah, but it's hard to start up games when no one can hear you, I've contacted Blizzard but they don't really do anything.

Talk to whom ever you want to on Xfire or AIM, or use voicechat stuff like Ventrilo.

Yeah, I just dislike having to use those programs, I'm very lazy.

maybe you made a mistake while writing the CD-key, that is a posibility.
