Campaign Creations

I've downloaded various campaigns from this site and the only one that works is Prophecy. Any advice would be appreciated.

BTW, do I have to make a .bat of EVERY custom .exe to fix the color error?

You must be running the appropriate versions.

I guess there hasn't been that much progress on making the old .exes compatible with Windows Visa, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10? (As a side note, why is there no Windows 9?)

Windows 9 was avoided because of how much of a failure Windows 8 was. Microsoft wanted to get far away from Windows 8, so they went for 10. I recommended 69.

Stargraft exes (presumably many of the old campaigns, anything with a wraith icon) are 1.07. Gear icons (stardraft) may not work at all, not 100% sure. mpqdraft exes should work, as should firegraft. Those may be 1.10 or higher depending on what the author used for plugins. Firegraft exes using exe edits are all version specific. Probably 1.15.1 for many of them, iirc.

I am unfamiliar with any OS incompatibilities between them so it's not a for sure thing.

Unfortunately, I lack the administrative rights of installing stuff, unless my parents temporarily grant me the ability to do so when I want to install a game. Are there versions that DON'T require administrator passwords?

Also, the SCV Selector won't download due to it being blocked on both Chrome and IE.

Well, that's bizarre. It downloads just fine for me in Firefox. I really don't know what would cause that.

Probably administrative things such as blocking inappropriate content, which also seems to block random pages and images that are appropriate.

Edit: Got SCV Selector to work. I first tried 1.07 but Zeji Conversion kept crashing so I upped it to 1.09b and it worked. The only problems are that most of the official Starcraft maps appear to be invalid or corrupted and The_Fenix.exe doesn't work, but for an entirely different reason.

The Fenix fine works on 1.07 for me. Maps are appeared to be corrupted, because they were maked on a new version of starcraft, so it's uncompatible.
