Hi there

This is the first time I post here Im a newbee. Im trying to do a mod about the Gulf War and
im currently working on replacing the battlecruiser by a MiG-29. I followed the advices given around here about
using a green background but I keep creating a grp file with a MiG-29 with a green border around it.
It looks like theres some kind of threshold in defining whats transparent (green) and whats not (the aircraft) and Im getting some residual green...

im attaching one of the 17 frames in png format....
The palette used is sc_units.act with green color as index1...

thank you very much for your help!

best regards

Miguel

I honestly don't know much about GRP editing, but it sounds like there's some leftover pixels surrounding the ship that are a slightly different shade of green. I changed the background colour, and yeah, this is what shows up, the green border you mentioned.

Since all the frames are already done, the best way (that I'm aware) to do this would be to manually go through it and change the slightly different green pixels to your shade.

Background needs to be 0,0,0 black. I don't know who said to use green...

Anyways, try rendering without anti-aliasing. It looks like your angle might be slightly off as well. Be sure perspective is disabled (render as orthographic).

Oh dear, somehow I am involved in the most unlikely situation!
