WoW - Jade Forest

Arising from the unexpected depths of Blizzard is a series of relatively talented composers, most of which are devoted only to the various WoW updates. WoW has an uneven track record, with classic retaining quite a few quality pieces, slipping off during Burning Crusade and Wrath, and Cataclysm only offering a few notables. But Mists of Pandaria impressively swings around from traditional Blizzard fare, with a mix of Eastern and Western influences, producing easily one of the best soundtracks of the year if not amongst my top ten period.
Jade Forest is my favorite piece from the soundtrack, a simple albeit incredibly powerful piece. I can only dream to find music as subtly good as this, with similar instrumentation.
With so many Asian games focusing on bombastic, go-lucky Orchestral pieces, a genuinely Asian instrumented soundtrack like this seems all the more rare and valuable.
The soundtrack almost makes up for the game being a copy-paste grindfest.
