Problem with The Fenix launcher

So, the problem is:
I downloaded this exe. However, whenever I try to run it, it shows an error box, saying: 'The procedure entry point RichEdit10ANSIWndProc could not be located in the dynamic link library RICHED20.dll.' and 'Error reading DocRTF->Lines.Strings: RichEdit insertion error.' and then the exe crashes.
If anyone could assist me with this it would be much appreciated.

Is it a Stargraft exe? Probably would require 1.07, then.

Well, no matter which version I use, I always encounter the bug...
EDIT: I managed to fix this problem, but another one surfaces...
This exe uses StarDraft, and StarDraft just refuses to work. It always says 'Blocking code fails to initialise - Windows NT users will see the problem.'
This issue also happens to all launchers which use StarDraft.

StarDraft I don't think even works on Windows XP much less something later.

Yup, it's all on the FireGraft now.

This is correct. StarDraft sezied to function on anything after Windows 98 (Windows 98, 95, maybe NT/2000 work), but XP completely failed to launch StarDraft.

If you are using Windows Vista or 7, you can install a Virtual Machine of Windows 98: http://www.essjae.com/virtualization/Wi ... gWin98.pdf to play the game near flawlessly. (This is how I play Dungeon Keeper 1/2 which crashes all the time in XP, Vista, or 7.)

While it would be great to update these EXEs to function with new age StarCraft, unfortunately I don't know how (I am a designer over a coder in the community), so someone else would have to dig around to resolve this.

Behold! A Fenix SEMPQ that should be compatible with modern versions of Windows.

Thanks, it works perfectly.
Now, all that I need is a solution for E.D.A.S.T. (which also uses StarDraft).

Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of an EDAST SEMPQ on hand, and I don't have the tools to bust open the old EDAST SECWAD to make one anymore either.

I thought RCX had updated all of the older campaigns to SEMPQs, but I'm going to guess that during some reshuffle of the site, those versions got misplaced. That said though, that means that someone out there should have an EDAST SEMPQ that's compatible with WinXP and beyond.

This is probably your best bet, though I'm pretty sure there are some issues with it. Try it out, though.

WinMPQ can convert cwad archives to mpq, .cwd and both StarDraft and StarGraft exe are all supported. It does not support extracting the StarGraft patch files, but the exe will extract those on its own when it runs anyway. I know how to extract them without running the exe if there is a reason to code something to do so. Once extracted, FireGraft can use the StarGraft patch.
