Campaign Creations

This is not a story I am thinking of making for a WarCraft 3 campaign, but since I now know that XP does not have MS-DOS so its nearly impossible to run WC 1 or WC 2 I was wondering, would it be a good idea to remake the campaign of the old games and make them in WC3? Or is that still not a good idea since you will be using Blizzard's characters.

That project is already in progress or was in progress.

Oh, I was planning on making a campaign during WarCraft 1. One reason I wanted to see if I could, and the other is because I still like WC1. I know some one made a campaign for the book Lord of the Clans.

People need to start coming up with original ideas for a change.

Like I said, someone is either making or was attempting to make a mod based on WC1, and the story.

Ya, that Dawn of Chaos conversion, I read it in Samods. I dont know if its finished or not.

And what do you mean you can't play warcraft 1 and 2 on Windows XP? I got all 3 games running fine on my pc. We need a change...

What I'm tired seeing in campaigns are overused Warcraft III built-in models. I don't mind downloading more than 100 megabytes if it's completely changed with models.

What I'm tired of seeing is also that a lot of campaigns that I played relates to the Warcraft Story which I think it's something unoriginal to do.

Well I found a way to get the MS-DOS on WarCraft 2 to run on XP I want WarCraft 1 to actually play the game, but I dont have it, I played the demo and it works. But I still got the games to work, I downloaded DosBox
