I'm excited! :)
Looking for the final showing of the new units in Heart of the Swarm and all BlizzCon panels.

Well, I'm actually more of standing by to see the campaign and if, this time, they'll send out a Pre-CGI Rendered cutscene. Oh, hell, who am I kidding...

Meh. They're calling maps mods again. At least they didn't capitalize "mod".

Hey, what to expect from a GENIOUS like Browder, he who made the 'key to the end of all things', Mesky?

On a side note, personally I think the influence of Dustin Browder has derogated StarCraft II.
He had nothing to do with the original StarCraft. At this era he worked for the greatest rival of Blizzard: Westwood Studios (C&C, Lands of Lore).

Sometimes, when I'm full of cynicism, I think to myself that guy still works for Westwood, or what's left of them, and secretly wants to take revenge for it, because Blizzard has left far behind Westwood. :P

All campaign news have been shown at the press tour event in May 2011. It's quite unlikely, that they will show even more at the BlizzCon...

There's some stuff I'm interested in. I'm pretty sure we're going to hear about the new WoW expansion this year, and while I haven't bothered with Cataclysm, I'm still interested in seeing where the game goes. Looking forward to hearing about the Diablo Lore Panel. I'm interested in getting an idea of where they plan on going with Diablo 3.

Well, they do have an entire panel dedicated to the Heart of the Swarm campaign, so I'm pretty sure we're going to see something new from the campaign at BlizzCon.

From the mouse-over description of the schedule:
Get an overview of the campaign and have your questions answered about Starcraft lore.
Doesn't sound for me that there will be real news. To quote Aldaris answering Artanis from the first Brood War mission "Escape from Aiur": We will see!

I don't think Browder has anything to do with the custom content side of sc2, which may be more unfortunate than not, given that he was barred from doing a ton of things in the game in the first place, and it's clear their current dev team in charge of the editor is retarded.

I remember the first time I looked at the Galaxy Editor, I wondered how in the world Blizzard made something with it. It was just so buggy and unstable (especially the Upgrade editor that had a bunch of orphaned abilities that just plain crashed the editor).

I'm pretty sure most of the editor, e.g. the data editor, was made last minute. It lacks a lot of stuff available through the XML files, so they probably did most of the game data-wise manually.

The Blizzard DOTA / Mod tools discussion seems the only place to ask if we'll ever get a built in way to load custom downloaded campaigns, host multiplayer without publishing, etc. I'm afraid it looks hopeless at this point, but it would be nice to get them to acknowledge that they're taking away options we had before.

Also curious they're calling it DOTA again. There was talk about calling it Blizzard All-stars.

The real question is.

Will Lav be willing to be shot down by the devs again?
