I can tell you it's a lot easier to get away with stuff like that with more unique names. Then again it's not entirely unprecedented as Blizzard did this a lot over the years (even some really prominent ones in World of Warcraft like Breanni the pet store owner being the most famous).

Well, to be fair, this is datamining the Beta, and if you browse through you'll notice a lot of junk in there like "Homer Simpson" or "[ CUT FROM GAME ]". From the sound of it, my name wasn't "epic" enough for the triggered event that was planned for my name, so to my understanding I was 'cut' out, haha. Someone else, though, may be sticking around.
