Break yourself against the ultimate AI opponent, Armageddon Onslaught. With 3 difficulties and an entirely new fourth race at its disposal, this custom opponent will deliver the greatest survival challenge to a group of 7 players. Currently in pre-alpha stages, the AI already shows promise.

Developed by master starcraft modder IskatuMesk, each of the new units the AI builds has unique characteristics, powers, and adhere to a new style sure to get the blood flowing.

The Onslaught has begun.

The pre-alpha preview of this mod was played on maplantis mod night 60.

Armageddon have replaced the Zerg. Ultimately this means the zerg are not playable but if possible I will use global triggering to rig the zerg as an observer "race" for those who want to just watch the action.

I can't recall if it is possible to detect whether a player is a comp or not, though.

Pretty sure you can't directly, but if there's some unit that only the AI is able to build and you can guarantee that it always builds that unit within a certain short amount of time (basic worker unit?) then check for whether a player has a hatchery but doesn't have that unit after that amount of time has elapsed.

Global triggers basically allow any trigger commands that don't reference strings or locations, right?

Actually, I'll be able to spawn my ambient storm effects with triggers. I don't know how but someone said I could (They'd spawn at "0,0", or northeast I think). Otherwise, these triggers will replace the melee triggers and function the same way + setting up the zerg race for observers.

Perhaps forcing the AI to build a certain unit, perhaps the Gloom, will work.

That used to be the case but I decreed to cannibalize the zerg for extra unit/graphic slots.
