What happens when you play too much starcraft.
This thread is for fun, nothing serious.

Mine would be:
Building your own Guass rifle and forging armour. Then waiting in your backyard for a Dropship to pick you up.

Dude, stop spamming the Starcraft forum. Make a thread if you have some actual content, otherwise refrain. You made 4 threads in this forum in 20 minutes.

Dude, if I played too much StarCraft, my gf would dump me [yea, I know I'm pussy whipped]... Nah, I'd probably join LARP [Live Action Role Playing]...
Also... this is kind of embarassing ...
I created the first 3 levels of a great campaign called "The Plague"... But... erm... I accidentally SHIFT+DEL them... Is there anyway at all I can get 'em back? [I know, SHIFT-DEL]...

I never done what you did before, but wouldnt they be in the Recycle Bin?

Shift-Del bypasses the recycle bin and just plain deletes them.

Ah, I see its like emptying your recycle bin, well you cant get them back unless you go back a restore point to before you deleted them. Thats what I did when I uninstalled LoTR: BFME and when I restored I got it back.

There are apps that can recover your deleted files if they have not been overwritten by somethiong else already. I don't think any of them are free though.

"Recover my Files" is a good one.

So, in short, my 9 hours of hard work for those 3 maps [3h each] are washed down the river...

I don't intend to spend 9 more hours just so I accidentally delete them again [I can only work on StarCraft between 2 and 6 AM... Yep, AM]...
No, I'll reamke them... But it's such a bitch.
And by the way, I've downloaded Search and Restore 4...
And it found some of my older deleted StarCraft maps...
But it didn't find my Plague maps... Ah well...

I had that problem once and except my maps became invalid scenarios out of nowhere so I tryed to restore them and I they didnt show uo and I had to redo it the entire map.

Not to be insulting, but in my experience it takes more than 3 hours to make a good map. If you only spent 3 hours on each map, I can't say you've lost too much progress.

You know, I altered my Recycle Bin into an incinerator it now instantly destroy anything as soon as I press Delete. It caused some trouble thought

Thats fascinating but we were talking about getting them back not learning how to ultimatly destroy them with one button.

Actually we were originally talking about signs that you play Starcraft too much, and then you changed the subject by asking about restoring deleted files.
