So my warcraft 3 tutorial maps are getting fairly close to a first official release and I will need a good name for the pack of them.
You can either suggest one or post about the one you like the most.
The current suggested names :
Newbie-to-Competent (by myself)
Be a Map King (DoW)
Everything about Mapmaking (DoW)
Mapmaking Lich King (DoW)
Ideally the name should :
1) Make it obvious that it is tutorial maps are mainly for newbies first and yet they will teach very far (ex : from like the simplest action to hardcore JASS).
2) The name should be relatively unique. You could search it via Google and find it in the first pages.
Other things to keep in mind :
1) The tutorials are mostly for the trigger editor although it will include a fair share of tutorials about the other editors. For example, it already got some good Object Editor tutorials and an early tutorial to import custom content via the Import Editor.
2) While I made all the current tutorials, other people will be able to contribute in various ways (as in not limited to make tutorial maps themselves).
3) The pack will include future "show-off" maps of various kinds which could include triggered spells, custom models, cinematics, JASS, etc. These "show-off" maps are less about teaching than to show what can be done or to show custom stuff.
4) Full open-source maps will be included for newbies to open and to learn from. For example, Keys of Sealing v2.20 open version if RazorclawX agrees to.
