The most awesome video ever.

For those of you who can't figure it out, it goes like this:

Heat Man's stage is too hard, I need Item 2 (Airman has this).
I can't beat Airman.
Airman's stage is too hard.
Airman is weak to Woodman's weapon, but I can't beat Woodman.
Woodman is weak to Heatman's weapon... etc.

Well I can understand after feeling enough masochist to try Mega Man 2  myself directly into Heat Man's stage and then failing considerably.

Basically a stage that is way harder than it should be. It's one thing to "random" those blocks above ground (which you fall down and try again) but it's another thing when it's over the lava or a hole (fall, die and redo the whole thing from the near-beginning).

So to make Lavarinth less confused, I decided to go on a 2nd try and I managed to beat the Heat Man stage on normal difficulty.

#9 to #18 : Lava pits but rather a piece of cake if you are careful.

#19  to #24 : First set of "teleporting blocks".  Somewhat annoying but rather quick to finish this area.

#25 to #29 : A wee little more annoying especially when you fail to jump over each wall the first time. If you do fail, the monsters appears and appears then they are swarming you and blocking your path for future attempts. Fortunately, I mostly managed to get it the 1st or 2nd time since I got an okay sense of timing.

#30 to #35 : The real difficulty of the stage, you pretty much need to memorize the block teleporting paths and time your jumps between the blocks. There are some easy parts if you are not the type of screw up for the constant jumps. From the start of that point to the end, you are pretty much assured to die two times at the bare minimum (unless you know the exact spots in advance) due to some blocks appearing above you at two places and if you failed to jump, you fall and die.

#36 to #40 : Mostly walking.

#41 to #43 : The boss. To my surprise, it takes a lot of damage from a single shot althought you do take a lot of damage when you actually touch him (around 20% of your health). I died once.

#44 : Second try at fighting the boss, only lost around 40% health. Rather easy boss when you know how it fights.

In total, it took me around 30 minutes to 1 hour since I didn't exactly check when I started trying.

EDIT : Just finished Airman's and Woodman's stages, the stages are a joke compared to Heatman's stage. I just died once vs each boss for the time I needed to learn their attack pattern so I can kill them after.  Standard weapon with no energy can.

I believe it's mostly humor about the past of having a lot of difficulty to beat those stages (possibly in hard mode or by an unskilled player). Mostly requires you to have played the game in those stages to "get it" (espacially Heatman's stage) or some other game that you just tried and failed endlessly. :p

The video was... weird.

Megaman 2 is a great game though, I've still got my cartrige. I probably beat it every 6 months or so. Last time I did it on difficult. Probably my favorite megaman game. Megaman 5 was also great.

I guess not many of you played Megaman 2.

Airman is actually a pushover. The only thing 'hard' about him is you're guaranteed to get hit no matter what. And using Woodman's weapon on him is mostly lame since you can't hit him most of the time with it.

In my case ...

I finished Megaman 1 to 6, somewhat played 7 ...
I finished Megaman X1 to X6 and X8, never played X7 ...
then finally I finished Megaman Zero 1 to 3, was mid-way in 4 until I got more interested by other things.

However, I have a very bad memory for each game's details, all I remember is which games I finished.

Yeah, Airman wasn't THAT hard, also Woodman was extremely easy, he was always the boss I killed first.

Also lol I Can't Beat Airman

Woodman was the first boss in the game that I beat, although whenever I play most of the time I go after Metalman because the Metal Blade is the most broken weapon in Megaman history.
