Campaign Creations

Many of you know about my Star Wars project, the television pilot I plan to pitch to LucasFilms.

What many of you may not know is that I've been working on it in the silence of all these years. A lot of folks thought I quit, I didn't. I just ran out of money.

So finally I've reached a point where I can't progress without finishing funds, and like I said - I'm broke. So I've started an indiegogo campaign to wrap her up.

Please understand, I'm not looking for YOUR money. But I'll totally take your friends'!

The idea I'm pushing is pretty simple:

1) Tell 10 friends about the project
2) Get 5 of those friends to contribute $1 (or more if they like the perks offered)
3) Get 3 of those friends to follow this 3-step process.

This isn't so much about an independent film as it is a certain cause: I - like many SW fans I know - feel that major studios and "big money" (did I just use that term!?) have taken over our beloved universe - That and a total disconnect of a certain someone with the source material. Sandrima Rising is about creating official content by FANS and FOR FANS.

I can't put into words how much it means to me to those who've helped already. This has been a chapter of my life ten years consuming. I'm ready to close the book on it. Anything you guys do for this is overwhelmingly appreciated.

I've done my share of relaying the message, and continue to. I suggest using a twitter account and search for #indiegogo I believe it was, and @mention anyone who has recently donated. The moment I shared my donation on twitter, I got a mention asking me to donate to another film. No harm, right?
