Problems with The Fenix (and other mods)

Hi y'all!
I don't know if any of you remember me but I used to hang out here a bit half a decade ago (whoa!).
Anyway, due to my increased interest in SC as of late I've decided to dig out some of the old campaigns. Well, I've played through all of the CodFed campaigns and Fall from Grace, and my next project would be The Fenix (the very first custom campaign for SC I ever played if I remember correctly).
However, I'm running into some problems running the EXE file of the campaign. The problem is it doesn't run at all, and instead I keep receiving an error message that some procedure entry point "RichEdit10ANSIWndProc" wasn't found in riched20.dll.
I first thought it might be a compatibility problem as I'm using Vista (with BW 1.07), so I tried it on my old computer with XP (with BW 1.15)--which still didn't work. I re-installed SC on my old computer and tried it with BW 1.04 and BW 1.07--and still nothing. I tried several MPQ editors but when they tried to access the EXE file, it either didn't do anything or (with WinMPQ) I get a message that there's no MPQ within the EXE.
I'm starting to think that maybe the file is corrupt. Either that or it is a compatibility problem that doesn't only affect Vista, but also newer versions of XP (I have all the newest updates). Either way, the same applied to the EXE file of the E.D.A.S.T. campaign. All others I've tried so far haven been working fine.
Anyone here who's experiencing similar problems? Or could someone perhaps download the mod and try it out?
Anyway, thanks in advance!

step one. put the exe on your destop. do NOT put it in your starcraft directory.
please reply once you have done this and have tried to launch the exe.

Hey F!sh, you should keep around here more often, you know, liven up the place with us, hah.
Anywho, you're saying majority of the versions don't work with this? That's interesting, what Chris said is worth a shot, but I was told they work if used with an SC patch prior to a certain version, I think it was .07 though, not too sure, either way, fixing all this is as simple as extracting and placing with the files into a new MPQ with the latest editor, isn't it? Or is there a possibility of a different setup for the files edited that's causing this problem since now they're "looking" in the wrong place for the data.

@Lav: First of all, thanks for the greetings. Second, it's not the majority of campaigns on this site that don't work, just a few. So far, I've tried:
- Life of a Marine (works)
- Legacy of the ConFed I, II, FA (works)
- Fall from Grace (works)
- E.D.A.S.T. (doesn't work works now)
- The Fenix (doesn't work works now)
- The Bob Levels (works)
@Chris: Thanks, that did the trick! It still doesn't work on Vista or on higher versions of SC than 1.07, but that's fine for me.

Can anyone send me the Patch_rt, Starcraft.exe, and the Storm.dll for v. 1.07?? I have the ones for 1.10, and don't want to have to reinstall SC again, because I can't find my CD-Key...

you need to do a double install.
copying the dll's and exe's doesn't work...at least it didn't for me.
no CD key? you're only hope is then to get a fake one and use that.
being this the case, you will not be able to play online with that installation.
MAKE SURE YOU NEVER UNINSTALL THE VERSION WITH THE AUTHENTIC CD KEY
now I on the other hand have never had access to an authentic one due to my former location in the world (lebanon).
anyway, back on topic. when you install a different version make sure to go into program files and rename your starcraft folder "starcraft2" instead. THEN install.
when you want to switch between versions just rename starcraft2 to starcraft and starcraft to starcraft2.
any more questions, please ask.
@lavarinth: if there's anything I am an expert on its on getting starcraft and any related mod exe's to work. I am your ace in the hole on such matters. like I said on my introduction: I have been playing starcraft and mods loooooong before I got internet access.

Convert them to SEMPQs.

F!shbrain I need something from you. You know the old Campaign Creations story thingy where lavarinth was a defiler and everyone continued the story in their own posts? Could you send that document to me?
Also, it is now entirely unnecessary to keep two installations of StarCraft. Convert all the SECWADs to SEMPQs and send me any requests for memgraft files that you need converted. As long as I can get a hold of the original .pat, It's no problem to fix stargraft files.

I'd love to have that as well, personally. Also, I found something on our FTP:
http://campaigncreations.org/articles/cchistory/
The real CC history story, I'll probably convert this over as an article just for kicks, these were good times.

^ haha that classic thread; I'd been at CC for almost 2 years by that time but I was on hiatus at that point and so don't make an appearance there... XD
Also for classic CC there's also
this one

Hm, I'm afraid I don't have that. Frankly, I don't even remember having done something like that...

Then again, I remember fairly little about the "Old Days" in the SC community. I remember most of the names, but even then I have problems connecting them with the various forums. But I guess that's because everyone was registered in each forum at some point in time.
Anyway, sorry, can't help you. I
do have some map titled "Infoceptor vs. CC" around here somewhere...
