Identificationary, a modest drawing game

Identificationary is a drawing game in the style of Pictionary: each round, each player has a turn to draw a picture while other players attempt to identify it. Players who correctly guess the identity of a drawing score points, used to determine the winner or winners, depending on the victory type.

I decided to make the map in response to the dissatisfaction of playing Pictionnary; it doesn't support mouse-input, relying instead on the primitive order-around-a-probe approach. Since Ricky couldn't be bothered to improve his map, I was compelled to make my own. It's small and modest, and includes all the features I thought desirable. It's designed to be played by friends and other folks who won't take it too seriously; it's not the sort of game that merits elaborate mechanisms to prevent abuses.

Special thanks to Shadow_Killer (modeller), Rao_Dao_Zao for publishing in the EU region for me and those brave few who helped test it on Battlenet.

Features:
  • Mouse-input drawing and erasing
  • Gap correction
  • Text input field
  • Scale, color, and opacity sliders
  • Color preview and slider gauges
  • Time, Score, Round and Endless victory types
  • Adjustable drawing time and dot limit
  • Supports up to 14 players and spectators
Controls:
  • Left-click to draw
  • Right-click to erase
  • C key to clear the board
The map is available in the US and EU regions.

Well, you can either wait for Friday or see who's on tonight. I'll be home in about two hours from this time (5:30 PST, -8) if you want to have me join you to do it tonight.

I'm having trouble on the technical end; it's impractical to upload a 30 second, 1.38 GB video to youtube, so I'm working on finding a way to reduce the filesize. ffdshow crashes, vdub has an inexplicable lack of codecs, and I'm in the process of acquiring Adobe Premier. But if anyone would like to spare me the trouble and fraps-compress-youtube that shit for me, by all means, one can even do it alone.

weird you cant use virtual dub, for all my encoding needs it has worked. please note that you need to download the respective codecs on their own, however, and i would recommend xvid for this particular need.

Question, Jade, what are you using to input the drawing? A left click or right click? I'm very curious as to how this would react to a tablet I have.
