Hey guys, Gamespot is holding this competition for the greatest video game villain. Kerrigan's going to need all the help she can get to win this! Every or almost every video game company has promised to show something special should a character from one of their games win!

Sorry, man. Vader is the better villain. Kerrigan has had a minimal presence for the campaign she was featured in for SC2.

No competition here. Vader is a much better villain than Kerrigan is.

That said though, it's not really fair to include Darth Vader in a contest for video game villains, since he's far more established as a movie villain. I guess you could just focus on how he's used in The Force Unleashed and the other multitude of Star Wars video games he appears in, but it's hard to just ignore his reputation as a character. Anyway, that's not the point of that contest. It's a popularity contest. How well developed, how effectively the character is used and how unique/cliché/archetypal the character is doesn't enter into.

Ergo, I predict that Sephiroth will win. :P

The fact that she's still in the competition shows how much credibility this contest has... or at the very least it says much about the mentality of the average gamer. -_-

I didn't even care for her, I simply chose the JOKER!

He's THE villain: He's bad, he does what he wants and he's funny! Loses only to GlaDOS, on the cake matter, of course.

Even when I think that Vader is a better villain than Kerrigan, I decided to vote for her. Mostly because she was originally intended as a game villain, while Vader's origins are those of a movie villain. But nothing else. She doesn't looks that much of a great villain in SCII. She's like 'This must be done this way because I say so' throughout the entire game... but well, the intention is what matters...

Joker is a true villian- No care for greed, motives, etc. He just wants crime. He's cynical and it's truly why I played Arkham Asylum with such enjoyment.

Kerrigan was originally intended to die and stay dead, actually.

I did mean the concept of it. Of her being born as a game villain instead of Vader, who was originally born as a movie villain and then was portrayed in several games.

Keep in mind if you're voting for Vader beyond games, with regard to his presence in movies, you must consider his entire history. In other words...
