Welcome. To the first step towards a new future. This is Campaign Creation's new forum. You will notice we look much more sleek and cooler, and overall our studness levels have reached near capacity. The strive to make us eye catching is slowly unfolding as today is the release of the first of many new features. This forum is no longer based off of Simple Machines and we have switched over to phpBB3. Slowly within the coming weeks you will notice additional features for this forum release over time. I wont go into detail as planned installations may not actually occur. For the time being, delve around, familiarize yourself and take a seat in the comfort of your new environment. Keep in mind we still have a few random images to replace here and there but overall what you see is the presentation you will experience in the new Campaign Creations.

One sad note, however, the one thing that did not manage to cross over are the avatars that were uploaded to us. Some tedious prior admin's settings caused that not to function, unfortunately. However, they are all backed up into the avatar location for you to select once more.

Also a note: I'm willing to listen to any and all suggestions for the forums.

Forum adjustments finalized as of August 26th, 2010:
  • Sticky topics have adjusted to hold a darker background.
Index page "latest topic reply" now shows topic name.
Join dates have been shortened to take up less real estate.
    Blogging system installed.
Installed universal [ video ] BBcode which supports all major video sites including YouTube.
Avatars position can be adjusted using the following method: User Control Panel > Board preferences > Edit display options > "Display mini profile on side"
Removed bots from listing for regular users.

Forum adjustments planned as of August 10th, 2010:
  • Adjust avatars to left side and possibly allow choice via two themes.
Properly adjust remaining images to reflect new theme.
    Sort "Draft" placement.

How's it distracting? Reply very naturally at top left, and so on.

Because my eyes are used to drifting to the right to read posts, instead you've got user names and avatars and shit on that side. :(

So this is worse because your, "eyes don't have to drift". Intriguing.

Ah, I see, I see. Well, I prefer it like this. Let the campaigning begin! ::)

Now these smilies are another topic altogether. Terrible!

For me it's distracting to switch the sides of both the avatars and the reply button... and the horizontal line background flickers on my laptop screen. :P

Sorry, you obviously didn't read the part where you can't advertise sites on maps, so no cc campaigns for you.

It's about as distracting as the two seconds it takes to acclimatize oneself to the new orientation.

Won't let this one die! ;D

What a random and unusual addition to this discussion; however, thanks for the clarification.
