Campaign Creations

So after completing the SC2 campaign, how does one go back and buy the rest of the upgrades and experience the rest of the missions?  Do you have to start a new campaign or is there something different to do?  Some of these achievements seem hard to get if you have to replay the entire campaign 3-4 times again.

One way to cheese the achievements (if that's what you're after) is to save up a lot of credits, save your game buy everything form one category, then load your game and repeat.

If you're talking about actually buying everything, I don't believe that it's possible.  I've got most of the upgrades and 275k credits (with the potential to earn ~30k more), but I'm on the final mission and I'm only missing 3 research total.

The other missions are in the mission archives panel. You don't get credits/research from completing them however.

Yeah you do. I can get every single upgrade in one play through if I just farm one mission over and over again.

I didn't get anything from replaying it. Probably because I haven't done the last mission yet.

You aren't looking hard enough.

Here's a great tip for all of you!

Before you go to Char, replay on casual the Zeratul mission where you have to save the three Protoss from the Hybrid.  You'll get 3 Protoss Research from re-activating the buildings, and 3 Zerg Research from destroying the elders' prisons.  You can use the two Dark Templar to rush down when the bridge opens to destroy the prisons and win the mission.  You can farm this mission in under 5:00 minutes if you're quick enough.

Interestingly, if you go back to the Lab to sell the research, the Protoss research suddenly sells for 110,000 credits and the Zerg at 120,000 credits.  Not sure if it's a bug, but it's way more than the 10,000 they are suppose to offer.  You'll max out Mercenaries and Armory in no time.

This can also help you replay the campaign to have these upgrades saved into your mission archives.  Roll through the Artifact missions as quick as you can, do the Zeratul missions, then play the rest of the campaign maxed out.

Great find!! Bust let's expand on it a little.

It looks like a bug in the Archive system. When you replay ANY mission with research points and win it will "Show you the money".

When you sell back you get 110K for Protoss and 140K for Zerg. So if you really liked a mission replay it and get extra money.

It only works once per mission. After that it only gives you 40K and 70K and knocks down the mission down to 80K so you lose money.

Now we have to find out how to get bonus research points.

I still can't get anything from replaying missions. Are you sure it wasn't a bug introduced by patch changes in the campaign save method?

They seem to have fixed it actually with the new patch.

It's a good thing it worked for me yesterday when I finished farming everything up to beat the last missions on brutal. Which I finished literally right before that patch came up.

It didnt work for me before the patch, so mabye I am just doing it wrong. Hell I haven't even patched yet, haven't been home.

The idea was to redo the 2nd zeratul mission on normal while playing the rest on hard, to max research and then sell. But the research is actually not added.

Or mabye you only get to sell the research if your tree is already maxed?
