Campaign Creations

I know it is a StarCraft site, but it is also a WarCraft site, and I realize that Lav is redoing the layout.
It just finally hit me, the logo of the site is ALL StarCraft, yet this is also a WarCraft site but no WarCraft in the logo.
Just wondering about that.

It's really always been more of a starcraft site. With sc2 on the horizon, the focus will be on it pretty much always as well. It isn't really a huge deal for warcraft stuff to be in the banner due to the lack of focus that has been put on it at campaign creations (besides RCX's works.)

The work was a contribution from the great Joel Studler. I'm going to take whatever he gives me and make the most of it. I respect the man too much to ask him for specifics on a layout, I just asked if he was willing to create something for CC and this is what he gave me.

you know, Joel's work is awesome, but there is something I feel CC has always been missing. An actual logo, something to brand stuff with, ya know?

we kinda used to have one, it was a C over another C

I'm sure Joel would be happy to create a logo.

I remember when this place looked Warcraft-themed... and it just didn't look right. This place isn't CC without it's usual black-and-blue color scheme.

Yeah... Warcraft III, as powerful as it is, just never had the same draw Starcraft did when it comes to campaigns. CC was started because of SC, and though it did try to venture out to other games, SC's always been its heart and soul.

If blizzard had made WC3 too be dark, gritty and a violent world (more like DoW) it mightve been better.

Oh right, now they have spaceships in WoW. Jesus they ran that into the ground quick.

Or like TOA. Although, TOA is a fantasy/sci fi hybrid. And it's so dark and gritty that any kind of game based on it would have at the very least an M rating.

WarCraft sort of became a dark and gritty world when the undead scourge completley destroyed Lordareon, but now you're right the spaceships fucking ruined it.

No, no it didn't. It was an excellent opportunity to make it so, but they didn't quite follow through with it.

Oh, the Undercity just seemed to give me a dark but not so gritty place, sewers, undead everywhere the what not. But your right and they are getting to advanced, the Draenei are not the Protoss, the whole space ships I never liked that.

The added spaceships to WoW, wow.....
