Today is the day and I just got booted off the bnet servers for a "system update." As of 2:00PM EST, the beta down period has begun. w00t!

Um... no.  It was a system update.  There's another patch, and it's back up now.

Looks like it was just a crash fix.

Actually they disabled replays apparently.

Really? Cause I was able to watch the replays from two recent games of mine.

Well a alot of people are complaining about replays crashing flat out now. I guess they just broke it even more than before.

Well that's retarded. Why the hell would they shut down the servers for an update on the same day they are closing it down? Couldn't they wait 12 hours and just do nothing until then? Lame....

Yes, all replays are broken. I updated and cannot load even new ones. Tried using some third party launchers to get around it but no go.

Heard that some could launched replays by dragging over the replay files into the old versions' EXEs. Not sure how true it is but you could try it at this point.

you'll still need a functional map cache.

A chinese loader called BigFoot or something or another has allowed me to finish commentating some of the folder replays.
