Greatest way to kick off July. NEVER did I watch the animated cartoon or anything relative to Transformers, but this movie was amazing.

I've heard good reviews for Die Hard so I'm looking forward to seeing that as well, but Transformers- Yeesh, the animation was very well done, maybe there was a little TOO much humor in it, but it was still a great movie.

"Can I ride you home--er... can I give you a ride home?"
I haven't seen the movie yet but I saw that one on HBO. Supposedly the first thing out of Barricade's mouth is really funny.
They spoofed Barricade on the Tonight Show the other night, it was pretty funny (Jay Leno's car transforms into him).

Barricade- His words were short, yet sweet. I love how they kept relating everything to the "world wide web" as their informational source.

The only thing I didn't like is that there were too many groups of characters. I mean, you think the soldiers are the most important, and then you see the hackers and beef boy. Besides that though it definitely is freaking amazing.

I definitely think the military guys weren't necessary, or even intro aside the fact it was an awesome intro. The hackers, a lot of scenes didn't have to be done like that, the big guy definitely wasn't necessary, but whatever floats their boats. Aside that, it was impressive, yes, actually saw it twice, hah.

That was awesome. I just saw it today. The military guys were cool, it helped push along the story (think about what their inclusion in the story did, I'd rather not write spoilers).
When they first announced it, everyone thought it was going to suck. I admit I thought it was going to suck a lot too, but I had a small bit of hope that it wouldn't be so terrible, they couldn't possibly fuck this up.
Oh, and I had the worst luck of sitting near an annoying group of kids, theyd freak out anytime something cool happened (first appearance of the bots, etc) Annoying as hell.

I'm going to see it tomorrow, but are all the main Transformers in it? I know that Optimus Prime is but like Megatron?
My sister's bf saw it twice and he said it was even better than Live Free or Die Hard.
