Re: StarCraft II Collector's Edition Announced
wow I'm surprise, Blizzard's never made collector editions before
also this pretty much stamps it in stone that the Thor is never going to be removed and probably never largely altered
what interests me the most is not the collectors itself, but this line;
Are the Decals for Collector's only?
Leaves a lot of questions...

Ummm... does this mean that when a Collector player makes a Thor that it looks different than everyone else's? Is that a good idea?Exclusive Battle.net downloadable content, including special portraits for your Battle.net profile, decals to customize your units in-game, and a visually unique version of the terran Thor unit

Re: StarCraft II Collector's Edition Announced
This sinches it for me: there is a small, but powerful, group of people at Blizzard who are absolutely dedicated to ensuring that the Thor remains in the game AT ALL COSTS.
Yeah, do these things show up for other players, or are they from The Collector's point of view only? Having a 'unique Thor' kinda runs contrary to their idea of that EVERYTHING MUST BE EASY TO IDENTIFY. The decals seems like an interesting idea, but don't really mesh well with the other races. So will the Heart of the Swarm box have special zerg decals and a unique Queen and the IAlreadyForgotTheNameOfTheProtossCampaign have a unique Mothership and, I dunno, special psionic glows or something?IskatuMesk wrote: wow I'm surprise, Blizzard's never made collector editions before

@Mesk: They made collectors editions of all WoW games, with extra's etc.
The decals seem to me to be extra ones, in addition to.
USB dog tag? I am so in.
