So I just went to log into samods after having not done so for some time (probably just to post something very amusing), after which I got a blank white screen and a message saying "Accessed File is infected".

Supposedly there's some virus going about there or something. Just figured I'd give everyone the heads up about this.
In the meantime, I'm scanning my computer for any possible viruses.

(Note: Could just be the antivirus program that I have.)

I've got no problem there and Lav is online there too.

Well for some reason it got listed as that by the internet security program I have.

I'm not sure what to make of it, though I could just be a little paranoid.

I stopped going over a year ago.  It's too bad.  I liked the community there.

It's just very unstable with all the problems.

Plus coming across hilarious crap like this, and that was before I attempted to log into samods.

I don't know which is more drunk. The program, or my dad when he installed it in the first place.

Doesn't surprise me. The Star Alliance hasn't been relevant for, what, 10 years?

I won't bash em.  They used to talk shit on CC on the forums during the height of the WoW era, then a few years later the roles were reversed.  The fact of the matter is, you never know what might happen to your site.

I don't see how there was ever a "war". I mean, didn't all the admins or like Magic and friends pretty much always got along with the CC admins regardless of generation?

Me and Magic got along fine and our sites would always cross promote.  I never knew any other SA Administrators as an administrator myself.  CC was enemy to none under my watch.  I'm just saying, in regards to many of their forumers and quite possibly the administration of the time during the original WoW era was quite CC-unfriendly, although officially, they still retained their affiliation and ties.  I'm so glad people aren't WoW-crazed any longer.  Talk about the dark ages.

Actually, I think it was just beef between some SA guy and Palin.

Also, about SA. I'm hoping that it gets ahold of itself and springs back, if anytime is right for any site to try to make a stand for itself, it's now.
