Time to come? Really?

That is the title of the song.  Don't ask me, ask Desler, I guess.

For the longest time, Desler was super secret about his music.  For years, I asked him what song he used for the death cutscene in The Fenix.  Finally, he gave in and posted the title of the song which was, "Rebel Army Theme" from Final Fantasy 2.  The orchestration version he used can be found here


As a 13 year-old game nerd, it was one of the coolest songs I had ever heard.  I downloaded the .mp3 file from his mapset.  For some reason, I've lost the original .mp3 I've played for years.  But here it is.  Enjoy.

That's interesting the EDAST song came from there.  Am I the only one who wants to seriously play that awesome looking game?

I think FF8 has the honour of being the most used soundtrack for StarCraft campaigns.

I think FF in general has the honor of being used the most in EVERYTHING

but trailer music, especially X-ray Dog, is quickly beating that record since it got leaked.

I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of the campaigns on CC had one of these.

I dunno what the hate is for music with lyrics. It works just fine, even if the lyrics are in ENGLISH GOD FORBID.

/e I don't recognize any of these, except for the New Avalon II one, and only cause it was pointed out.

Not in my campaigns. I deliberately used some obscure stuff.

And the reason FF8 was so popular to use was... big surprise, the game only just came out at the time.

I consider picking out music for my projects an art.
