Yeah, the link doesn't work here either.
Didn't Omega say he is Spanish? I don't know, the locations in his maps have Spanish names too, and judging from that website a character named "Sonork Nezom" is in both campaigns. Oh well.

plagiarised? aren't you going too far? from what I read on that article, the author from that campaign is spanish too. it may be plagiarised but its possible that omega20 and the author are one and the same

Okay, thanks, chris, for the link. It looks like it may not be the same author.
I checked. Maps are the same, but the characters are different. The Spanish one has Zeratul and Artanis, where Omega has other characters.
Omega needs to clarify.

tested it. Omega20's campaign is nothing more than a crude translation of that other campaign with minor edits to make it compatible with this competition. Whether that spanish campaign is made by him is yet to be determined, but this explains the poor grammar of the dialog.

I'm hoping this is the case, but it really doesn't look like it.

Well... Of course I need to clarify. And I'LL clarify. Indeed, both campaigns are similar. But that doesn't mean it was plagiarised. I AM BoyKoy, the original author of the campaign (well, I was. I changed my username and email throughout the years for personal reasons). I'll need to explain it right from the start.
This campaign was originally created to explain the events happening after SC and BW, between three and five years ago. By then, I only frequented Spanish forums, as I didn't spoke English, so it was made on my native language, Spanish. By the time I begun to work on this campaign (we're talking a couple years ago) SC II wasn't even announced, so I took the liberty to do whatever I wanted with SC original characters. I created Kerrigan's story relating Khaydarin experimentation and Sonork Nezom's mystery, as well as the 'true' story behind the Khalis and Uraj crystals. I created an entirely new universe from scratch using the original projects created by Blizzard, an universe that, since then, I've been unable to reproduce again with a succesful campaign.
In previous campaigns announced by me (Fall and Rise, My Life for Aiur, etc) I wanted to use a similar lore, relating Khaydarin enhanced Zerg and mysterious entities that wanted to use strange artifacts to gain power, etc. I was unable to finish them, and thus, this was left unexplained. I wanted to translate the campaign to English before, of course. However, I needed to change half of the story and characters in order for it to fit SC and BW aftermaths (for example, in the original campaign Duran's dark master wasn't any other than Arcturus Mengsk, Duran's working as a Dominion spy; SCII WAS announced by then). Lack of time and motivation made this unable for me to accomplish this, as well as I didn't wanted to present a B&D campaign similar to others.
Then, the "Four Years Between" contest was announced. It gave me the motivation I needed to do what I wanted to make months earlier. I succeded in changing the story in order for it to fit into the contest's rules, and then, I announced it. But while the contest gave me motivation, it didn't gave me time. There were expressions that I wanted to translate in order to keep the campaign as funny as it's in Spanish. However, Spanish expressions aren't as similar as English ones, making it for me even more difficult to translate them. Because of that, a rushed and poorly made version of the campaign was released some hours before the end of the contest.
I didn't wanted to told you about it before, mostly because I know you wouldn't bother in playing Spanish campaigns. I'm ashamed you needed to know about it this way, but... well, you needed to know about it one way or another. I hope this clarifies all. If you want to know more, though, just ask.

I believe him. My only question is why, omega, were you unable to finish your campaign in time if all the mapping and triggers were done but you just needed to translate it? (Note: I haven't played your campaign for the contest or the old spanish one, so I don't know what the differences are, if any).

You really shouldn't spew stuff like that around without any facts Chris. That's just insulting.

Yeah, I only needed to translate, but I also wanted to add new features and some new maps. I also needed to change the characters to fit within the contest's rules. However, as I said, it was unable to do it because of the lack of time. I've been very busy in real life to pay this project the attention it required.
EDIT: I'd have to ask to any mod to close this thread and/or remove the links for the original campaign. I don't have any problem for you to download it, but the story from the previous version and the current one is very similar. Anyone could just translate the original version, making all the work and effort I'm putting on the current version pretty much useless.

It's suspicious but I believe omega, I don't think he'd go that far for a chance at a SC2 beta key and some campaign fans...

Of course I wouldn't. In fact, I didn't expected this campaign to help me to get a SC2 beta key or even some campaign fans. Triggering is poor and dialogues aren't very good. In fact, the only things I'd find interesting on it are the terrain and the campaign's plot.
I always knew I wasn't gonna win the contest or achieve one of the first three places. Two months don't give me the time I need to make an entirely new quality campaign (Mostly 'cause I need to revise grammar, spelling, trigger functionality, etc). Because of that I used this old campaign of mine, fixed it and made some changes in order for, at least, participate in the contest. In fact, what I wanted with YOF was to receive feedback to help me to properly deseign and develop future projects (Solace of the Fallen (working title) being one of these).
