hi everyone, i'm italian and i'm 18, nice to meet you...

i hope someone could help me with modding...iì'm pretty ignorant so sorry in advance...

i would like to know how can i make overlays and underlays turn correctly with the unit i applied them on...

more specifically, right now i applied to the wraith a pair of tank turret flashes (siege mode) on its wings to create a better looking firing effect...however they look good only if the wraith fires up or down...they result offset if the wraith fires in every other direction...can someone help me? plz. thanks in advance

In Images.dat, units that use an overlay in their attack have a .LO* set in Attack, under Extra Overlay Placements. This file tells SC where to position the overlay during every frame, so overlays can be lined up perfectly with proper editing.

Careful, if a .LO* has less frames than the animation, Starcraft will crash when those animation frames are played and it tries to fetch coordinates from the .LO* that aren't there.
