One of Blizzard's best Spring announcements.

LORENADO!

You should see the WoW forums.  They're hysterical!

I really hope the buildings are actual units and not just an animation like sapphiron. If that were the case, sc2's engine is capable of something pretty unique there.

But I doubt it.

Also the attacks don't actually attack anything. I wanted to see dudes get sliced.

Is this the first time they showed the city tileset?

As far as I know, yes.  The city looks very detailed and nice.  I wonder if aerial units have pathing to avoid those buildings.  YES I WONDER.  IT KEEPS ME UP AT NIGHT.

I'm betting on them just shooting up the building like a missile or going through them entirely, depending on if the game handles them as geometry or as doodads.

In war3 there are are objects that block air pathing (such as the Arcane Observatory) so it should be possible.

What's great about Blizzard April Fool's is that most of the stuff they do does turn out to be used in their games.  I'm hoping the Terra-tron can be a functional unit in the map editor ^^

Yes, it didn't actually destroy anything which sucked.  Still, very cool.

It could have been firing at buildings and shit, it is in a city after all. it was shooting weird stuff out of it's chest too.

it's also a completely joke unit made for fun. Why would it be functional beyond it's presentation? That's like bitching about the Quest Bolt not actually creating quests (which i've seen in a serious comment on another site already >_>)

Hey, there's WB. I was beginning to wonder if you'd missed your cue.

Yes!  No longer does my gnomish warlock need to consort with demons and the infernal powers of the Burning Legion!  He can finally follow his true calling... DANCE!

Terra-tron is awesome.  I hope it appears in the Editor (I seem to recall the Tauren Marine being confirmed as in, if so, that bodes well for the Terra-tron).

Seeing as the Archivist apparently has only 1 HP, the true mark of a great Diablo III player will be beating the final boss with one in Hardcore Mode.
