Military Contractor may have negligently caused the deaths of 18 US soldiers

This has been reported on for well over half a year although little action has been taken against KBR besides inquiries and other bureaucratic procedure.  People have probably heard about the overcharging of Halliburton by nearly a billion dollars or the Blackwater incident where Iraqi civilians were killed but KBR seems to be sharing in the trend of negligence among military contractors in Iraq.

It's definitely a raw deal when soldiers now have to worry about being killed by their own base just when things have started to become more stable military-wise.  Read the story here

Wow.. That's freakin' terrible. Cutting corners and all that jazz never leads to anything good. This was quite a depressing and angering read.
