newgame plus not working for book 3

i wanted to mention that newgameplus at the end of book two doesnt save your items or levels for your characters in book 3. I did cheat to kill the lass boss, Still i tryed typing savegame as the last thing before i killed the dragon and still nothing. Did i do something wrong?

The New game plus mode works perfectly.
The 1st and the 2nd book are connected.
The 3rd,the 4th and the 5th are connected in an other way.
I'm wondering about the 6th one....

my mistake i guess i didnt read it right. Other than that great work Razor and look forward to book 6
