Campaign Creations

In anticipation of a 2009 release for StarCraft 2, The Oracle has released a teaser video on January 17, 2009.

The video runs just over six minutes and highlights the first test of the classified "Black Sunset" project in the Legacy of the Confederation (LotC) universe.  A very small snippet of things to come for LotC.

Man this is 1 sick cinematic. GREAT job with it, the voices sounded very professional. I am exited and can't wait to play this campaign!

Everything looked good except the walking animation. Look too "lifeless." But otherwise, awesome! So I guess the decision is to use prerended?

There will be four pre-rendered cinematics to go along with the campaign.  I do not know about the editor's capabilities in terms of in-game cinematics (I don't know how much of the engine for that is usable by players or not...and if it is usable, would all of the interiors need to be redrawn?)  Too many variables there to say for sure whether or not it's viable to use the in-game cut-scenes.

Hopefully so, but regardless of whether it is or not, there will be four pre-rendered vids released.
