From what I heard from Bill, Mucky proposed to make SS on Friday nights.

Personally, I won't mind such change since I am more likely to be there for my 1 hour of gameplay since I won't be damn dead from a Friday to Saturday night shift (tend to start to be ugly in terms of work demand from those days until Sunday).

From Mucky's side, he has to work Saturdays thus preventing him to come to SS.

So I am making a public thread to know the other players' (and potential players) views about it.

As a side note, tonight's SS will be still be tonight.

I work Saturdays which is why I'm on later whenever I'm on. (Which has been rare recently with Holidays making work hours longer.) I don't work Fridays, at the moment, however I am usually out on Fridays, but who knows, I'd probably be on more often on Fridays. I'm indifferent to the change.

Since we are in the same relative topic, how about we change the event's starting time as well?

Personally, I would prefer 8 PM GMT-5 instead of 9 PM GMT-5 so I can have 2 hours of gaming instead of 1 thus I would be able to play a full game of the more interesting but longer maps (TGS, Footmen vs Grunts, etc.)

In addition, it would be much more tempting for me to come to the event instead of feeling that I just come and go out already.

And quite frankly, I don't expect my job to change my schedule anytime soon.

Why can't it be any other night other than Friday or Saturday?  I always want to play but I'm always hanging out with friends and so on on those two days.

Fine with me, at least if it means we'll have more than two people besides me show up.

Doesn't it make more sense, though?  I'm pretty sure of all the days that people won't be available, those two days will be it.  During the week everybody is stuck at their desk doing homework or having to deal with a job so they'll be near a computer.

To expand on this: During the week very few people are willing to stay up as late as SS usually runs due to a job or school.

By the way, I'm completely bored, and I will be on earlier, if anyone else wants to play.

How late?

Most of us live in the east coast, which means it doesn't start until 9 PM for us. A typical night (well, at least a few months back) would last until 2 AM. Also, I've been working Saturdays more often than not, and I rarely work Fridays.

Just don't hang out with friends on one day. GEEZ WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO SOCIAL
