First i'll hope you will forgive my low english skill !
Then, i'm working on vidéo making-stuff, sorry if it's wrong forum part.
(an exemple is available Here on dailymotion).

During my research (thx google <3) i found your awesome website, and after trying some tools i must figure that i can't do it on my own.

What i call "spell sprites sheets" is for exemple the storm of the templar or the wraith missile (wraith launcher animation + rocket + impact animation) extract into a format that i can use for video making (like skin sprites sheets into .bmp)

So let's try to explain, for make this little gif movie, i have use tools for extract mpq sprites sheets into bmp and then after use lot of software (gif converter, gif maker, vegas tools, etc etc).
Like you can see, hydra do the shoot move but no acid is firing, like the marine bullet don't impact hydra (there is no bullet )

Sorry if it's hard for you to understand but for me it's really hard to explain in english :p


So what i'm looking for, is extract the game "spell" effect into a format that i can convert for video making (like bmp) because record a game and extract the spell really give a bad result.

I'm looking for extract enought to be able to make some little movie.

I have found a way with ScmDraft 2.

Using the grid custom option, until i get a black screen. Work with ground support so i can put ground stuff.

Then i record with video stuff.

Every spell and weapon effect is in. i'll just try to animate those who need to be.
(like wraith weapon who need  missile tail + missile + Ghost impact).

So look's like i've finally found  \o/

If someone know another way i'm still looking for ! but atleast it will work like this.
Now it's time for more movie making :p
