Campaign Creations

I am frustrated.  I run Windows XP on my Macbook via Bootcamp.  Everything works perfectly.  This dual thing has been running for over a year now, and since that time I've used Adobe Audition excessively to produce voice samples for my campaign work and that of others.  Today I rebooted to Windows, just as I always do, and I run Audition and BAM! I notice all my presets are gone. GONE! It's like a fresh install of Adobe Audition.

I had some things in the works, but my biggest problem is I was working on something for TheOracle's campaign, and it used a lot of custom effects.  WHICH ARE ALL GONE. 

Now my question to you and god is, why did this happen?  And I don't mean "why"  as in a "why did this happen to me?" kind of thing, but I want a technical reason for this.  Seriously, what could have gone wrong?

That sucks.  I don't know why, it may be a corrupt preference file somewhere.

Are you logged on as the exact same user? Have you installed anything new lately? If it's a warez version, that could affect it in some mystical, unseen way (i.e. hidden code or something).

@Magic: Yeah, it's warez, but that was never a problem. I'm logged in as the exact same user as well.

Was gonna say this. I haven't had this happen before but I have ported my presets across computers by hunting down the appropriate files in the user settings. If those are gone... :\

Speaking of this, would anyone mind sharing their presets?

It's happened to me in Firefox and Thunderbird as well, now that I recall. And not warez.

Since bootcamp is such a perfect and infallible method to run an OS.
