I think there are some fundamental problems with forum mafia. People can wait to see how others respond before responding or not respond at all, for instance. There are other problems too, I'm just too lazy to think of them. So I propose CHAT ROOM MAFIA. It will be much more like real mafia, except in a chatroom. It will be much faster than internet mafia, with a game probably taking under an hour. The problem is just getting dudes online at the same time. So if dudes are interested, POST HERE and say when you're likely to have a free hour or so to play. I'll be GM. I also posted this at SA to get more participants. Rules will probably be slightly different from forum mafia. GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO

I would play although with my night job, it might be hard to get a fitting time to play online other than on my weekend (monday/tuesday).

In general, it would be between 8 AM and 1 PM for most days ... if it's done during this monday/tuesday, it's between 12 AM (midnight) to 4 PM (of the next day).

1 PM to 6 PM (central time) or so are my most likely hours, though I might be able to work something in later if that's how it is.

What sort of "chatroom" would be used, anyway?

Probably AIM or equivalent, since most of us have it. We could do IRC if that works better, though.

We tried this last night with 5 people (would've been 6 but AA7 couldn't get into the chatroom). It was pretty lame with so few people, so we'll try for at least 7 next time. Then it will be TOTES AWES.

AIM works better for actually getting people there but we should still bring back IRC imo

It's easier to give your choices and roles over aim.
