I mean.. Come on.. Prolife (buyable) no matter the cause, even if RAPE OR INCEST IS THE CAUSE OF PREGNANCY (EPIC FAIL!).. [SUED] the [Bush administration] for labeling Polar Bears as endangered, causing the drilling in Alaska to seize! OH NOES! @#$% THE POLAR BEARS! Met with McCain ONCE! Aaahh!!

I just don't get it.  While Republicans may be able to argue that she has experience and knows what she's doing, or whatever, there's no getting around the fact that she was chosen as a cheap political ploy to win over wayward Hillary supporters (heck, she practically said as much herself).

Methinks this won't be worth it for them.

At least McCain is finally being highly profiled in the news.  Before this it was Obama this Obama that, now all I hear is Palin Palin Palin.  I have a feeling people won't shut up about this.

I've read that at a lot of places, but I found one article that suggested that perhaps that wasn't the real strategy, and in fact it's working out just as the McCain campaign wanted-- they got everybody's attention.

It got my attention.. And I already lost it within days. I didn't even watch the speech or the like, I just read the articles because it was far more interesting than I would of found McCain's speeches to be, or likely Palin's. His speeches are only entertaining on the Colbert Report... In 3D.

That's a good point, though.  This pick did effectively kill the momentum of the Democratic National Convention.  Instead of everybody talking about that over the weekend, it was all Palin.  And now it's Republican Week, so they'll be getting even more attention, while all the Democrats can do is offer brief rebuttals here and there.

Still, it doesn't seem like this will make that much of a difference in the long run.  But then again, I'm usually wrong.

Her teen daughter is pregnant and since most republican campaigns at least have some grounding in family values epic lulz should ensue.

If so, how is she supposed to take care of five children as vice president?

Also- I'm just ITCHING for the vice presidential debate.. Oh god imagine all the hardballs that will be thrown at her by Biden. "TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE?!" "NO ABORTION IF RAPED?!" "SUED BUSH ADMINISTRATION!?" "WTF WOMAN!?"
