I was going to say that you might be able to emulate it. It would be cool.

I don't know the current status of the dolphin emulator. But I wouldn't be surprised if it could do Wii U games. Seeing as how Wii u hardware is just an extension of Wii, which in turn was an extension of the gamecube.

I've been told from reliable sources that Dolphin is in a fairly good state. It's something I intend to get into in the future (along with another method of n64 emulation that was brought up).

My edit work on divinity is almost complete and we'll be ready to continue our recordings in the very near future. This is going to probably be one of my longest if not my longest LP's despite my many, many edits to try to cut down time. Ultimately, I didn't want to cut too much, especially what sparse bits of dialogue did show up. We really do just fuck around a lot. However, if you're patient, I guarantee a lot of giggles. I sure make HKS upset in this one.

Divine Divinity was the game where you start as a random dude in a village and have to club your way through the world diablo style, right? I'm looking forward to all the gamebreaking stuff in this one, I hope I'll see a barbarian moving at the speed of light and continuesly grunting as he whacks trashmobs and boss-monsters to death with one swing.

Never played Divine Divinity. This is Original Sin.

That level of broken is still happening, though.

/edit

I have commenced the continuation of Lords of Game Testing.

While I was able to breach the roadblock of before relatively quickly with a stunning new strategy, the game proves to continue to worsen as time goes on.

Any plans on doing another podcast anytime soon?

I've actually had two recorded but neither have anything particular about them that makes them worth editing, especially since I covered project status in a new CC podcast with lavarinth that is waiting to be put on the site. I'll check if the more recent one has anything else noteworthy in the future and upload it if so. Or we can just record another since there has been a few new developments.

I wonder if it would be better if the podcasts focused more on topics that were less time sensitive. Like you said, project updates are typically covered in the blog and this thread.

Hypothetically if somebody were to listen were to listen to a podcast 5 years from now, the topics potentially covered could still be relevant at that point in time. There could more stuff worth editing that way and there would be less pressure to get stuff edited quickly.

There really aren't many topics worth talking about, though. No one is interested in developer material and only two of us (one of which hardly speaks) has any experience in that. Do you have any other suggestions?

Well, I'm interested in how your approach to audio. Describe your recording setup, maybe discuss your early recording setup and how you improved things overtime, where you got advise etc. Hopefully you won't be repeating too much if you have covered some of this stuff before.

If you remember anything of it, you could also talk about your composing.

My composing isn't much, but sure, I'll add these subjects to the dongle next time we record.
