Hmmmmmmm. I have considered it, but SO much work lost, its hurts me. I will try my luck and develop a new Terran mission, hopefully I can build a sturdy foundation for me to grow a pair of balls and really start over. I will have more news later.

Ah man if it's true that you lost everything that really sucks.
Don't go to geek squad. I used to work at Best Buy and man it's an uber rip off. They will literally charge you 60 bucks to install microsoft office... rofl.
True. I currently work at Best Buy. Employees can get a decent deal (at least at my store), but they will charge you out the ass for the most trivial things. Everything computer-related at Best Buy is a total scam.

I support your campaign and all, but, tbh, nobody cares much about SC1 campaigns anymore. I would save your ideas for SC2. If it wouldn't translate well, head back to the drawing board. There are no deadlines here, so take your time and make everything exactly the way you want it to be.

My computer cannot run StarCraft 2, so until I get my new computer
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Toshiba+-+Satellite+Laptop+with+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i3+Processor+-+Quantum+Black/9703393.p?id=1218153394199&skuId=9703393 I will have to hold off on StarCraft 2, but I also do agree that not many people care about StarCraft 1 Campaign since, "the big ol' steamroll that is SC2 is on it's way!" I honestly think I can try to restart the campaign, but I will need to wait for the manufacturer to send me a new hard drive, which will take about 1 - 2 weeks. Until then, I have nothing more to say.

You're getting a cheap ass laptop using built-in video memory to make a campaign in sc2?
lol

what's wrong with that laptop? Looks like a nice one to me and powerful. I love laptops for all their conveniences including their low amp draw. There's no reason why he can't build a SC2 campaign with that laptop or play SC2 for that matter.
Don't fry your new laptop harddrive w/ StarEdit tho.

Without a dedicated video card, that laptop will not deliver very well on gaming.
For only $200 more, my wife recently got
this laptop. It handles games quite well at high settings with its 1GB GeForce GTX 260M video card and 7200rpm hard drive. Laptops aren't known for their speakers, but this one even has built-in Antec Lansing speakers with a miniature subwoofer on the bottom, giving music and sounds more depth. For its price, it's quite the package.

Thanks for the comments, that laptop just suits what I need to do. I am not going to remain dedicated to video games for too much longer, so I will need a laptop for research, recreation, and typing up the documents I need. I will have to get used to the fact that SC2 is just not for me.

What makes SC2 so different from SC1 that it's game-changing for you as a campaign maker? I may just not see the problem for you, but I see SC2 as the best thing that a campaigner of your (and, frankly, my) level could hope for.

I've already said why intel onboard is bad, but that's on top of sc2 being GPU-dependent much more than cpu dependent. Yes you can get away with a single-core or a drappy dual core, but not onboard video.

I am telling you, I am not fucking lying! Why do you assume I am lying? Because some mother fuckers don't want to do that work? My ass. I was prepared to showcase what I had to offer to this great site, and the fact that all of you won't accept what I have to tell you if there is a very large bump in the road makes it all the worse. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
That old chestnut? Really? What does it even mean in relation to the matter at hand?
You're just another one of those "mother fuckers" that doesn't want to do all that work. Stop talking about campaigns until you actually have something. Stop talking about how bad your computer is treating you. Stop talking about how what you're saying is absolutely positively true.
Stop talking, period.
