Balancing the old Mothership would've been better than changing it into, a RCX said, a glorified Arbiter. Just have it so Black Hole = requires full energy and drains all shields, leaves it deactivated like the pheonix after overload. That way it'll be uselss without backup. Keep the 1 per player limit.

Another thing that I wonder, is the Protoss Mothership is a ship the Protoss can only have one, is their going to be a machine that will be like that for the Terrans or Zerg, at first I thought the Thor was.
Nope, the Mothership isn't limited anymore, and when it was, it was going to be protoss exclusive.
Thor is the closest thing to it, and Zerg are going to probably have something like the Thor/Mothership.
I can only imagine what the 'superweapon' for the Zerg will be.
Well thats sucks if its not limited.
A massive giant Ultralisk that shoots out Banelings. Or a tiny little Zergling thats jumps all over the map tearing everything to shreds.

I see the Zerg having some kind of superior ground melee unit like a super-Ultralisk.

Zerg are fine without superunits; they're supposed to just build and build and spam the fuck out of you.
As for black hole the thing about it was it killed so many fucking units; even if they made it so again you can only have one mothership and it
does end up with zero energy, zero shields and unable to move for a few seconds, if used right you've still destroyed a gazillion enemy air units. Perhaps if they rejigged it so it works in a smaller area of effect, or even cooler if units towards the edges of the area are saveable by anyone with half a brain microing them out.
I still don't like the idea of only being able to build one, though. That's just fucking annoying. So I guess it's great they took that out

The Mothership is a joke now, it's ridiculous. First they have this story about how there's only in existence, now all of a sudden you can have more than one.. Why call it Mothership than, and why does it have what looks like a Protoss city on top of it?

Well the Mothership (if anyone has played it) like the superunits in LoTR: BFME 2 :Rise of the Witch King, they're to powerful they should limit it, you're right though they shouldnt have super units for Zerg, since they'll kill ya anyways, why have one guy who can do the job, when you have a million now strucked with boredom?
I hope they change it back to only one per map. With the black hole make it limit to how many it can suck (that is a wierd sentence), but i know then that changes all science because a black hole sucks ALL around it. but then it would be no fair because it can such an ENTIRE army instantly, and thats no far.

Mothership is fine the way it is. They need to change the name, though.
No superunits = a very smart move.

Definitely. They should add the Black Hole back IMO, maybe change it so that only one unit is absorbed at a time? And the mothership should remain motionless and unable to fire while it triggers the black hole. That ought to balance things.
Zerg should have at least one big bad unit though, but I like how Zerg seem to be even more swarmy from the videos we've seen. It'd be a great sight to see a huge, slow moving C'Thulu-like slithering mass of tentacles and flesh amongst all those Zerglings and Hydras.
On an unrelated note, did SC1 have a description of what the Xel'Naga looked like? I don't recall any...

No, nothing specific. Although there was a theory that the Reaver-looking bug statues on the Xel'Naga Temple in the video represented them.

They should mkae the Zerglings and Hydras and mutas build faster with less resources, also I think the Queen if they add it they should allow it to infest more buildings, probably Terrans because it would be wierd if you could infest like a Nexus.

Why? They already build fast as in. Add in additional 3 hives, so 4 hives times 3 larva is 24 zerglings, in less than one minute, at what cost? Like.. 600 minerals? That's nothing. They already are fast. Think of something more clever.

No superunits of any kind, please. This isn't an EA game.

I'm thinking that nydus worms may actually be the ridiculous crazy thing the zerg have. I mean, I can't imagine anything more satisfying than just popping a couple of those behind enemy lines and watching the carnage. Unless you need to pop them on creep, which would make changing the name kind of pointless.
