I don't have a Mac, my uncle does, I wanted to play there since I was staying there for a few days.

Get a real computer?  It's funny how people are still saying that when Apple continues to gobble up more of the PC market share.

Pretty sure PCs will always be the standard for gaming, which is what PCs are being used for more and more.

If I buy any Mac hardware, its getting a dose of XP before I use it. I've used both the max and PC platforms since I started using computers first in 92. (first was a mac performa...those were the days?)

I enjoy how people always call apples the most stable computer and never crashes:

Someone actually wrote an article on how programs may not "crash" on apples, but they sure do freak out and the OS itself has a lot of issues users generally aren't aware of. I can't count the times, personally, that an external harddrive either took 20 minutes to be recognized or simply was wiped clean without any pop ups whatsoever.

Actually, while the number of Mac users is in fact increasing, it isn't increasing relative to the increase of general computer users, so percentage wise, i believe it is either stagnant or decreasing. At least, thats what I read a few months ago.

In my opinion, PC > console (Wii, 360, N64, etc) > Apple Platform

thats because of mac osX. although they are getting a larger market share, they will always have a lower share.
also, lets hope they will continue to have a lower share, because it is the lack of popularity that prevents people from making mac viruses.
the higher the popularity, the more viruses will be produced.
thats why IE7 and windows are faced with so many viruses attacking them.

I would love to have a Powerbook for academic purposes. But Apple doesn't exactly scream power.
