If it is real, then it IS StarCraft III. My guess is its story centers around some evil Protoss judging by how prominently he/she is featured.

Blizzard sure knows how to stir up a community, though. Out of all their hypes, I've never seen the Internet forums reach such a critical level of rampant rumors and .jpeg analyzation. It's getting pretty funny.

Somewhere, I saw some people discussing the possibility of a new Blackthorne title.

all blizzard has to do is post an image on their site and they've riled everyone up. Their logo does all of their hype for them.

Yep. They could just have plain text reading "SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME ANNOUNCEMENT COMING SOON" and that would be enough to excite their fanbase and build tons of intrigue, but yet they'll still go for the highly dramatic route with their intricate splash screens and mysterious clues littered around the place.

I gotta admit, it is fun that way.
